1. Overview


A unique QR code is generated for each Hybrid attendee in Airmeet Conference Format. The QR code is accessible to attendees via email invite. Organizers can check in the attendees who are attending the event on-site by scanning the Hybrid (on-site) Attendee’s/Speakers/Exhibitors QR code.



2. How to Scan & check in attendee tickets at the venue?


Step 1: Open the Airmeet mobile application and copy the event link, or if you already have the application installed on your device, click on the event link.


Note: To check in from the application, you need to be an Event Member of the community.  


Step 2: Click on "Manage event."




Step 3: Click on the "Scan ticket" button placed at the bottom of the application,

Scan the attendee QR sent in an email to them.




Step 4: After validating the QR code, Click on "Yes, check-in" if you want to go ahead and click on No.

A successful message will be shown, marking the hybrid participants as registered.



    

2.1. Manual check via Airmeet application


In case your participants didn't receive the check-in email l or got misplaced somewhere, as an organizer, you can manually check in the participants from the Airmeet application as well.


Step 1: Open the Airmeet mobile application and copy the event link, or if you already have the application installed on your device, click on the event link.


Note: To check in from the application, you need to be an Event Member of the community.  


Step 2: Click on "Manage event."



 


Step 3: Search for the Participant's name or their registered email id and manually click on "Check-in."



2.2. Manual check via events dashboard


If you don't have mobile devices to check in with your participants, you can check in from the events dashboard.


Step 1: Go to events dashboard > People tab > Attendees section.


Step 2: Search for your attendee by entering their name or registered email address.




Step 3: Hover over the attendee name and click on "Check-in".This will mark the onsite participants as registered on the Airmeet dashboard.

Q. In what Airmeet event formats do the check-in feature work?


A. QR code feature is applicable for Airmeet Hybrid event Format under the Virtual Events and All In Suite plans.

Note: Hybrid capabilities are an Add-On for Virtual Events plans.


Q. Who has the privilege to check in?


A. All the community team members have the privilege of mage the check-ins.

Q. How can we send QR codes to onsite attendees & participants?


A. Attendees can either purchase the onsite ticket or if the attendee type is Hybrid mentioned by the organizer via uploading a CSV, those participants will get the QR code on their confirmation email.


Q. Can we delete or un-check an already check-in participant?

A. No, Currently, Airmeet doesn't have that capability.


Q. How to re-send the confirmation email to participants?


A. To resend the confirmation event, kindly follow the below steps

Events dashboard > People tab > Attendees > search attendee > Click on "Send Confirmation Email".


Q. What happens if the online attendee type comes to the on-site venue?


A. Online participants need to either purchase the Hybrid type of ticket, or the organizer needs to add them from the events dashboard via CSV at their own discretion.
