Any cancellation and refund request has to be raised by an attendee via email, and they will be sent to the email address of the team member who created the Airmeet (Airmeet Organizer). So if you have ticket sales in progress for any upcoming Airmeet, please keep an eye out for any requests from your customers.
Once you receive a request and have taken a call on the legitimacy of the said request, you can issue a refund through a single click on your Stripe dashboard.
Step 1: Go to https://dashboard.stripe.com & log in to your connected Stripe account.
Step 2: Go to payments > Find the transaction associated with the customer by searching using the customer's email id.
Hover over the transaction to issue an immediate refund OR alternatively, you can view more details of the payment and issue the refund by clicking on the refund button in the top right corner.
Step 3: You can choose to customize the refund amount & do a full or partial refund as per your own liking. A refund is done from your Stripe account balance.
Please note: The Stripe processing fee & Airmeet application fee charged on a transaction are non-refundable.
If you wish to block entry for this attendee because the ticket was refunded, kindly follow the below steps:
Step 1: Navigate to your "Events dashboard" and select the "People" section.
Step 2: Under "Attendees," search for a particular attendee.
Step 3: Hover over the respective participants, click on the "3 dots," and select "Block".
Note: Blocking a participant will remove them from the live event and not allow them to enter the event. You can unblock the participant at any time.
To unblock an attendee kindly follow the above steps and click on "Unblock attendee".
Note: Currently, cancellations and refunds are required to be managed manually by the Airmeet organizer using Stripe. We do not support cancellations and refunds in-app by Airmeet.
