TABLE OF CONTENTS

1. Overview

During live sessions, participants sometimes post questions in the general chat instead of the dedicated Q&A section. This can lead to important questions getting lost, making it difficult for speakers and moderators to track and respond effectively. To address this, Airmeet introduces the "Move a Chat to Q&A" feature, enabling hosts and moderators to seamlessly convert chat messages into Q&A questions.

Benefits of This Feature

  • Ensures important questions don’t get lost in chat flow.
  • Enhances event engagement by structuring participant queries.

  • Allows hosts to efficiently manage audience questions.

  • Reduces chat clutter and improves discoverability of questions.

2. Steps for Hosts, Co-hosts, and Organizers

Step 1: Navigate to the session’s chat window. Locate the chat message that should be moved to the Q&A section.

Step 2: Click on the three-dot menu next to the message. Select "Make it a Question" from the dropdown options.

Step 3: The message will now be visible in the Q&A section under the original participant’s name.

The converted message appears in the Q&A tab for better visibility.Other attendees can upvote, comment, and interact with the question. The participant who originally posted the chat will see their message moved.

3. Things to keep in mind

  1. Once a chat message is converted to a question, you cannot change it back to the chat.
  2. A chat converted to a question will appear under the question analytics report.
